On November 2, 2022, Filip & Company announced that Banca Comerciala Romana’s sale of a part of its BCR Fleet Management operational leasing business to the Arval group (reported by CEE Legal Matters on June 13, 2022) had closed.
According to the firm, "the BCR Group and Arval Romania have finalized the agreement for the transfer of a part of BCR Fleet Management’s operational leasing activity. The Competition Council validated the transaction by which Arval Romania takes over, starting November 1, 2022, the control over the fleet, considering that this acquisition does not raise obstacles in the competition area."
As previously reported, Filip & Company advised Banca Comerciala Romana on the sale of a part of its BCR Fleet Management operational leasing business to the Arval group, while Radu Taracila Padurari Retevoescu advised the buyer.
