Former Stoica & Asociatii Managing Associate Daniel Alexandru Aragea has been promoted to Partner at the firm.
Aragea’s practices include Arbitration, Competition & State Aid, Administrative, Tax & Constitutional Law, Civil Law, as well as the Banking, Insurance, Capital Markets & Financing. According to Stoica & Asociatii, he “assisted and represented Romanian and foreign clients in civil law litigations, especially with regard to civil contracts, in real estate matters, in the administrative procedures before the Competition Council, and in litigation arisen from the decisions of the Competition Council,” as well as “before local and international arbitration courts,” such as the ICC in Paris.
Aragea joined Stoica & Asociatii in 2010 and was promoted to Associate in 2012 before reaching the position of Managing Associate in 2016. He holds an LL.B. and an LL.M. from the University of Bucharest.
