Filip & Company, working with Linklaters’ London office, has advised Fondul Proprietatea on the sale of its entire shareholding in OMV Petrom for RON 764.1 million via an accelerated private placement.
Erste Group Bank AG and SSIF Swiss Capital acted as joint global coordinators and joint bookrunners in the transaction, while Banca Comerciala Romana and Auerbach Grayson and Company acted as joint bookrunners.

OMV Petrom is a Romanian integrated oil company, a subsidiary of Austria's OMV. It is one of the largest corporations in Romania and the largest energy company in Southeastern Europe, according to the company's 2021 Sustainability Report.
