Tuca Zbarcea & Asociatii has advised a banking syndicate on a new credit facility for MedLife, as part of the company's EUR 228 million syndicated loan. Mitel & Partners advised MedLife on the loan.
According to Tuca Zbarcea & Asociatii, MedLife “has obtained a refinancing and an increase by EUR 50.7 million of existing credit facilities, now totaling EUR 228 million.” The banking syndicate included coordinator and lender Banca Comerciala Romana and lenders Raiffeisen Bank, BRD Groupe Societe Generale, Banca Transilvania, ING Bank Romania, and Erste Group Bank AG.
MedLife is a private healthcare provider in Romania. Back in October, Mitel & Partners advised MedLife on the acquisition of a 51% stake in Romanian private healthcare services provider Provita (as reported by CEE Legal Matters on October 14, 2022).
