Stratulat Albulescu, working with Luxembourg-based Bonn Steichen and Partners, has advised Machinations.io on a USD 3.3 million USD Series A round. White & Case's London office reportedly advised Hiro Capital, who led the round.
Hiro Capital is a VC fund focusing on technology and the gaming sector. The funding round also included GapMinder, Acequia Capital, and Venrex Investment Management.
According to Stratulat Albulescu, “founded in 2018, Machinations.io is the first and only browser-based platform used by more than 35,000 professionals for designing and predicting game economies & systems for premium, free-to-play, and play-to-earn games.” It added that "the funds will be used to expand the team and accelerate the company’s development, as well as to launch new features and services to support the rapid development of the number of users.”
Stratulat Albulescu’s team was led by Managing Partner Silviu Stratulat and included Partner Cristina Man and Associate Roxana Ioncu.
