Stratulat Albulescu has advised the founders of Metagame Studios on their exit to Fortis Games. Reportedly, Murphy & Brawley also advised the sellers, with Gunderson Dettmer Stough Villeneuve Franklin & Hachigian and Eversheds Sutherland advising the buyers.
According to Stratulat Albulescu, “the acquisition is part of Fortis’ ambitious expansion plan and aims at onboarding the team with a view to creating next-generation games 'as-a-service model,' improving social experiences, and fostering connections.”
Metagame Studios is a Romanian game development company. Fortis is an international video game developer and publisher and a subsidiary of public company Las Vegas Sands.
Stratulat Albulescu’s team included Managing Partner Silviu Stratulat, Partners Octav Stan and Andrei Albulescu, Managing Associates Anca Ulea and Elena Stan, and Associate Amanda Csaki.
