Stratulat Albulescu has successfully represented Romanian facility management company Compania Romprest Service S.A. against the Ministry of European Funds before the Bucharest Court of Appeal.
According to Stratulat Albulescu, the "landmark decision by the Bucharest Court of Appeal” led to the annulment of “the minutes and [the] corresponding Decision for ascertaining the irregularities and establishing the budgetary receivables issued in 2018 based on AMPOSDRU financing agreement, and [established an] obligation of the defendant, the Ministry of European Funds, to reimburse the plaintiff the amount of LEI 4,724,889.90 (EUR 973,935.41), as well as to pay the plaintiff the related legal interest.”
The Ministry of European Funds is the coordinating authority in Romania for European funds, for structural and investment funds 2014-2020, structural instruments 2007-2013, and financial mechanisms in the European and Norwegian Economic Space.
Stratulat Albulescu’s team included Managing Associate Roxana Catea and Associate Andreea Stanciu.
