Act | Botezatu Estrade Partners has assisted Teva Pharmaceuticals on the accession by its Romanian subsidiary to the group’s securitization programme, arranged by BNP Paribas, Dublin Branch. Leroy Law and Gide Loyrette Nouel reportedly advised BNP Paribas.
The transaction entailed the financing of selected commercial receivables payable by Romanian customers, by using mechanisms specific to securitization – assignments of receivables, ultimately followed by the issuing of financial instruments on foreign markets.
