Tuca Zbarcea & Asociatii has advised Fadi Rida and Mihai Stanescu, founders of the Global Technical Group, on their sale of a majority stake in the group to private equity fund manager Abris Capital Partners. Clifford Chance Badea advised Abris Capital Partners on the deal.
Tuca Zbarcea & Asociatii describes the Global Technical Group as "an end-to-end solution provider for building management in Romania." The group consists of Global Technical Systems SRL, Global Technical System d.o.o in Serbia, GTS Global Intelligence SRL, Global Operation Center SRL, and Global Technical Controls SRL. Rida and Stanescu will remain minority shareholders in the company.
The Tuca Zbarcea & Asociatii team was led by Partner Sorin Vladescu and Managing Associate Marius Barladeanu, supported by Partner Serban Paslaru, Managing Associates Nisa Jecu, Andreea Oprisan, Raluca Sanucean, and Bogdan Halcu, and Associate Nicoleta Tudor.

Last year Clifford Chance advised Abris on its sale of the Urgent Cargus courier company to Mid Europa Partners (as reported by CEE Legal Matters on October 2, 2018), and the year before on its acquisition of shares in WDX S.A. (as reported on December 18, 2017).
