Greenberg Traurig and WKB Advise on ZE PAK’s Acquisition of Great Wind from Neo Energy

Greenberg Traurig has advised ZE PAK Group company PAK-Polska Czysta Energia on the acquisition of the Great Wind project from Neo Investments company Neo Energy Group. Wiercinski Kwiecinski Baehr advised the seller.

According to Greenberg Traurig, the investment is aimed at "the construction of a wind farm situated in Czluchow, in the Pomerania Province, consisting of 33 wind turbines with a total capacity of approximately 72.6 megawatts."

The ZE PAK Group is a Warsaw Stock Exchange-listed energy group in Poland. The Neo Energy Group is an investment platform focusing on the development of projects and companies in the field of renewable energy.

"This is yet another acquisition of wind farm projects, following the March acquisition of a project company which will develop a wind farm project consisting of 14 wind turbines situated in the Przyrow commune," Greenberg Traurig Local Partner Paulina Kimla-Kaczorowska commented. "The transactions completed as part of ZE PAK’s green strategy are in line with current market trends related to investments in renewable energy sources."
