Closing: Gutenberg Capital’s Acquisition of Power Park Opole from EPP Now Closed

On April 5, 2022, Dentons announced that the Gutenberg Capital’s Acquisition of Power Park Opole from EPP (reported by CEE Legal Matters on January 10, 2022) has now closed.

According to Dentons, “Power Park Opole is a retail park with a total area of approximately 23,000 square meters, whose main tenants are Auchan and Media Markt.”

Dentons describes EPP as “the largest asset manager of retail real estate in Poland in terms of GLA. The company's portfolio currently consists of 29 retail properties, six office complexes, and one planned mixed-use development with a total value of approximately EUR 2 billion and a leasable area of over 1,000,000 square meters.”

According to Hogan Lovells, “the acquisition of Power Park Opole is Gutenberg Capital’s first strategic investment in Poland. Gutenberg Capital intends to expand its portfolio of food-anchored retail properties in the upcoming months.”

Hogan Lovells’ team included Partner Andrzej Debiec, Counsels Bartosz Clemenz and Zbigniew Marczyk, Senior Associate Mateusz Dereszynski, Associates Adam Nowosielski and Jan Starybrat, and Lawyers Pawel Gnas, Natalia Olechnowicz and Antoni Cypryjanski.
