Gessel has advised the Haitong Bank as the issue organizer, dealer, calculation agent, and documentation agent on the PLN 150 million bond issue by Polska Grupa Farmaceutyczna. Baker McKenzie advised the issuer on the deal.
Polska Grupa Farmaceutyczna is a distributor of drugs as well as a provider of services to pharmaceutical manufacturers. The company is part of the Pelion Healthcare Group and has been present on the Polish market since 1990. According to Gessel, the bonds were placed on the Catalyst alternative trading system of the Warsaw Stock Exchange, and are secured by a surety granted by Pelion.
