SDZLegal Schindhelm has helped Max Streicher win a PLN 1 billion contract from Gaz-System to construct compressor stations in the Polish communities of Goleniow and Gustorzyn as a part of the Baltic Pipe project.  Domanski Zakrzewski Palinka reportedly advised Gaz-System on the deal.

Baltic Pipe is an international infrastructure project aimed at creating a new gas supply corridor to Poland. According to SDZLegal Schindhelm, “the investment will enable the transport of gas from Norway to the Danish and Polish markets, as well as to end users in neighboring countries.” At the same time, the firm reports, “the Baltic Pipe will enable the transmission of gas from Poland to Denmark."

Gaz-System is a publicly owned manager of gas-transmission systems in Poland, which delivers over 17 billion cubic meters of methane-rich gas annually.

Max Streicher is a subsidiary of the Streicher Group, which is primarily focused on the construction of oil, gas, and water pipelines and pumping, treatment, and compressor stations.

SDZLegal Schindhelm’s team in Warsaw was led by Partner Witold Slawinski, and, in Wroclaw, by Associate Tomasz Dabrowski.
