Former Suciu Popa Partner Luminita Popa has left the firm to establish Popa Legal.

According to Popa, the boutique law firm will focus on arbitration work and is set to be joined by other dispute resolution lawyers in the future.

Prior to founding Suciu Popa in 2016, Popa was a Partner at Musat & Asociatii between 2005 and 2016, having originally joined the firm in 2001 as a Senior Associate.

"This is a new and exciting chapter with a strong foundation on my entire activity in international arbitration during the past 17 years," commented Popa. "8 years ago, a group of enthusiastic colleagues founded Suciu Popa and I could not be more proud of our achievements throughout the years. While moving in different directions now, I look forward to everyone’s continued success."

Following her departure, Suciu Popa rebranded to Suciu Partners.
