Senior Partner Marta Popa – who has been with Voicu & Asociatii since its inception in 2001 – has been appointed a Deputy Managing Partner at the Bucharest-based firm.
Her practice covers corporate/M&A, project finance, data protection, labor, and energy and healthcare public procurement. She joined her current team back as an Associate in 2001, when it was still affiliated with Squire Sanders & Dempsey as Voicu & Filipescu, and became a partner in 2006. Before that, she spent a year and a half with Musat & Asociatii as an Associate.
