Kinstellar and Freshfields Advise on Strabag's Acquisition of WTE Wassertechnik

Kinstellar, working alongside Noerr, has advised Strabag on the Romanian, Croatian, Czech, and Montenegrin aspects of its EUR 100 million acquisition of WTE Wassertechnik from EVN. Freshfields advised EVN.

The transaction remains contingent on regulatory approval.

WTE Wassertechnik is a provider of municipal and industrial water management solutions. According to Kinstellar, the acquisition supports Strabag’s Strategy 2030 and is expected to significantly enhance the group’s water technology capabilities, expanding into the area of integrated water management. Upon completion, the combined water technology business is projected to generate approximately EUR 400 million in annual output.
