Schoenherr Bucharest has advised Greenbridge Partners on its acquisition of a 75% stake in Rus Savitar and its retail arm Casa Rusu from the Rusu family. Radu si Asociatii SPRL, the Romanian member firm of Ernst & Young Global, advised the Rusu family on the sale.
Romanian furniture producer and retailer Rus Savitar operates three furniture manufacturing plants and 21 stores. Following the transaction, Cristian Rusu remains involved in the business both as a shareholder with a 25% participation and as a general manager.
Founded by Ola Rollen and Melker Schoerling in 2015, Greenbridge Partners is a Swedish privately-held investment firm with a focus on technology in mature and emerging markets.
