Perry Zizzi was named Managing Partner at Dentons in Romania.
Zizzi is a Banking and Finance and Real Estate lawyer, with experience in finance, including syndicated loans, securitizations, capital markets, and acquisition finance, as well as real estate development, financing, acquisition and leasing transactions.
He joined Dentons in 2014 from Clifford Chance, where he was a partner for seven years. Prior to that he was Counsel and later Partner at Salans and Altheimer & Gray in CEE. He was also an Associate at Skadden Arps in Paris and Debevoise & Plimpton in New York and London.
Zizzi commented: “I am honored to take over this position at a time when Romania is increasingly important to Dentons and to our clients. We plan to develop our key practice areas and grow the office to match our capabilities in other countries.”
“Dentons has a rich legacy in the region, and our strategy is to continue building on this strong foundation to be the number one firm in Central and Eastern Europe,” said Tomasz Dabrowski, Chief Executive Officer of Dentons Europe. “Perry has already proven himself as a very competent lawyer, and I wish him continued success in leading the development of our Bucharest office.”
Anda Todor, who served as Romania Managing Partner from 2008 until ceding the role to Zizzi, will continue serving clients as a partner in the Corporate and M&A group.
