Popovici Nitu Stoica & Asociatii was the exclusive legal adviser to a nature documentary movie project named "Untamed Romania," which had its Romanian premiere at the Bucharest National Theater on March 21, 2018, along with a gala that was attended by the President of Romania, Klaus Iohannis.
According to PNSA, the film was commissioned in 2016 to Off the Fence (an award-winning producer of factual television and digital cinema content, whose productions are broadcast worldwide) by PNSA’s client Auchan Group, "as a gift to all Romanians in the whole country’s centenary year celebration."
According to a PNSA press release, "the movie explores Romania’s landscapes and rich wildlife, from the Danube Delta to the Carpathian forests. A feature-length top notch film, unique from all angles, celebrates Romania’s astounding natural beauty and sheer diversity of wild animals. Vast mountains, ancient forests and expansive wetlands provide undisturbed habitats to many of the continent’s iconic creatures."
The production of the film was also supported by The European Nature Trust. The international premiere was held in Washington on March 18, 2018, and will be followed by a presentation at BAFTA in London on May 9.
PNSA Partner Bogdan Stoica, who led the firm's team on the matter, commented: “An extraordinary project, unique in Romania until now, a real homage to the amazing Romanian nature, still so unknown by reference to its startling richness!
