Romania’s Boanta, Gidei si Asociatii (BG&A) has officially joined CEE Attorneys, the Central and Eastern European law firm with existing offices in the Czech Republic, Poland, Slovak Republic, and Lithuania.
"By joining CEE Attorneys we become a part of the ambitious and rapidly expanding international law firm and we are positive to share our experience and knowledges with the aim to offer truly the best services to our clients," commented BG&A Partner Sergiu Gidei, in a statement released by the firm. "Today a significant part of clients’ business activities is cross-border, and a lot of companies follows the trend of globalization, so I believe it is very important to keep pace."
Lukas Petr, Partner of CEE Attorneys' Prague office, said: "Romania is one of the fastest growing economies in the EU with increasing amounts of foreign investments and a large presence of major international companies. Therefore, the decision to expand to the Romanian market was absolutely consistent for the firm and we are pleased to welcome our new colleagues."

CEE Attorneys was established on March 1, 2015 by agreement of the Czech Republic’s Tomicek Legal and Slovakia’s Fox Martens law firms (as reported by CEE Legal Matters on March 2, 2015). In June 2015 Poland’s SPP Legal Szmigiel & Papros joined the firm (as reported on June 16, 2016), and in November 2015 Lithuania’s SKV Law law firm gave CEE Attorneys a Baltic presence (as reported on November 3, 2015). As of September 1, 2016, BG&A becomes the firm’s fifth member.
According to the statement released by the firm, "the company's ambitions do not stop at those numbers and in the near future CEE Attorneys plans further expansion within the region."
