Wolf Theiss has advised Dacia Plant shareholders Calin Ioan Ianta and Radu Ionescu-Heroiu on the sale of a majority stake in the company to Ceres Pharma. PwC's Romanian affiliate D&B David and Baias advised Ceres Pharma on the deal.
Ceres Pharma is a Belgian pharmaceutical company active in women and family healthcare.
Dacia Plant is a wholly Romanian-owned company dealing in the development, production, and distribution of food supplements in Romania.
According to Wolf Theiss, ”Ceres Pharma will strengthen its position in the Romanian market through this acquisition, which is of high strategic importance since it expands its product portfolio in Europe.”
