Tuca Zbarcea & Asociatii has advised Electrica on its acquisition of a 207-megawatt wind and solar project portfolio from Monsson. Berechet Rusu Hirit advised the seller.
According to Tuca Zbarcea & Asociatii, Electrica acquired “social shares in three project companies owned by Monsson, consisting of two photovoltaic parks in the Satu Mare area and a wind farm in the Dobrogea area.”
Electrica is a Romanian publicly held supplier of electricity. The company was founded in 1898 and it currently serves over 3.8 million customers in the country.
Monsson is a Stockholm-based provider of wind farm development, operation, and maintenance services. The company’s portfolio consists of projects with a total output of over 2,400 megawatts.
