Maier, Ciucur & Asociatii has successfully represented health and fitness operator Smartfit Timisoara in its challenge to the Romanian Government's mandatory shutdown of gyms and fitness centers in communities with a fourteen-day COVID-19 tally above four in one thousand. The decision on behalf of Smartfit was issued by the Timisoara Court of Appeals, and the case is expected to go before the High Court of Cassation and Justice for a final solution.
