Schoenherr has advised Okoenergie Beteiligungs on the repowering and expansion of the Pillichsdorf III wind farm in Lower Austria.
According to Schoenherr, the project will significantly increase the wind park’s capacity and renewable output. As part of the repowering process, five existing turbines will be dismantled and replaced by seven modern, higher-capacity turbines, increasing the wind farm’s total capacity from 10 megawatts to 50.4 megawatts and boosting its annual electricity yield to approximately 105 million kilowatt-hours, which is enough to power over 33,000 households.
The Schoenherr team included Partners Christoph Jirak and Christian Schmelz and Attorney at Law Sarah Wolf.
