BPV Grigorescu Stefanica has advised Iveco Defense Vehicles, part of the CNH Industrial group of companies, on its sale of over 2900 high mobility trucks to the Romanian Ministry of National Defense for a total value of over EUR 700 million.
The public procurement procedure was finalized with the awarding of the framework agreement to IDV in December 2019, and the first batch of 942 vehicles will be delivered over four years, starting in 2020.
According to BPV Grigorescu Stefanica, “during the past 12 months, the procedure was challenged several times by IDV’s closest competitor, but the Romanian courts dismissed all claims.”
BPV Grigorescu Stefanica’s team included Partners Anca Albulescu and Daniel Stefanica, Managing Associate Raluca Marcu, and Senior Associate Serban Dumitrescu.
