Norton Rose Fulbright has advised Panattoni on the development of a major BTO distribution center for Media Expert in Lodz, Poland. Causa Finita Szczepanek i Wspolnicy reportedly advised Media Expert.
Panattoni is an industrial real estate developer in Europe.
According to Norton Rose, the transaction, one of the largest logistics projects in Panattoni’s history, involves a nearly PLN 500 million (EUR 120 million) investment in a logistics hub. The new BREEAM-certified facility, spanning over 207,000 square meters, will strengthen Media Expert’s logistics operations. Media Expert will use the new center to streamline its supply chain for both e-commerce and brick-and-mortar channels. In addition to supporting its core product segments, appliances, electronics, and bicycles, the new facility will also aid in Media Expert’s diversification into gardening and fitness categories.
