Greenberg Traurig has advised Ekstraklasa on the sale of media rights for the 2023/2024 through 2026/2027 seasons of the Polish premier football league to TV broadcaster Canal+ Polska.
According to Greebberg Traurig, “the value of the transaction amounted to approximately PLN 1.3 billion, which is a new record in the valuation of sports TV rights on the Polish market.”
Greenberg Traurig’s team included Deputy Managing Partner Michal Fereniec and Junior Associate Wiktoria Grotkowska-Szostak.
