Gessel has advised Luneos Green Energy on its acquisition of an unidentified 19-megawatt photovoltaic farm project.
According to Gessel, “Luneos is a provider of green energy and energy transition solutions for business in an as-a-service model, offering support in preparation, financing, realization, and servicing of investments in the field of LED lighting, photovoltaic, and cogeneration installations. Luneos Green Energy is a joint platform of Luneos and Susi Partners, a Swiss firm managing funds specializing in investments in sustainable energy infrastructure.”
“This transaction is part of LGE's investment strategy envisaging the allocation of approximately PLN 3 billion to the acquisition, development, construction, and operation of a portfolio of renewable energy assets with a capacity of approximately 1 gigawatt,” the firm informed.
Gessel’s team included Partner Karol Sokol, Managing Associate Michal Osowski, Associate Iwona Gielo-Benza, and Junior Associate Pawel Plisko.
