Gide Loyrette Nouel has advised KGHM Polska Miedz on negotiating a contract with US-based supplier NuScale Power for the implementation of SMR-class small modular reactor technology.
According to Gide, “modern SMR reactor technology is being successfully developed by NuScale Power, which has one of the most advanced designs of its kind. KGHM is implementing this technology in response to the EU Fit-for-55 package and as part of the strategy to reduce emissions within the KGHM Group.”
Gide’s team in Warsaw included Partner Dariusz Tokarczuk, Counsel Krzysztof Cieplinski, and Associate Michal Glowacki.
