JDP Drapala & Partners has advised Trei Real Estate Poland on a EUR 27.5 million loan from Bank Pekao. Radzikowski Szubielska advised the lender.

According to JDP, the loan will be used for "refinancing [Trei's] real estate development operations."

Tengelmann group company Trei Real Estate Poland operates in real estate in Poland in the commercial and residential segments.

"We are glad to report that we managed to take out a loan from a local bank in Poland for the first time," Trei Real Estate CFO Matthias Schultz commented. "The construction costs of our Vendo Parks are generally financed with equity capital. In line with our funding strategy, we have these costs successively refinanced in a package once a year. Another effect achieved with the loan is to keep increasing our leverage ratio. The medium-term goal we pursue is a debt ratio of around 50%."

The JDP team included Partner Maciej Chrzan, Counsel Michal Urbanski, and Associates Daria Gromotka and Dominik Grzegorzewski.

The Radzikowski Szubielska team was led by Partner Agnieszka Piasecka, and included Senior Associates Martyna Dyga-Mroz, Edward Bielinski, and Joanna Jablonska.
