Gide Loyrette Nouel has advised Okam Capital on the acquisition of a 62-hectare plot located in Warsaw's Zeran suburb.
According to Okam, the industrial site formerly housed automotive industry production facilities.
"We made one of the largest acquisitions of this type on the market in just one transaction. Undoubtedly, the scale of the investment will be huge and the preparation itself will take several years, and the multi-stage implementation will cover a dozen or so of the next," Okam CEO Arie Koren said about the deal. Current tenants will be given the short-term option to continue on-site activities. "It is very important for us to leave the character of this extraordinary place so important in the history of the Polish automotive industry, therefore the investment will be carried out by us respecting the past and will be preceded by consultations with interested parties," Koren noted on the site's future development.
Gide’s team included Partner Piotr Sadownik, Counsel Blazej Czwarnok, and Associates Tomasz Roszczyc and Aleksandra Kobylinska.
Gide did not reply to our inquiry on the matter.
