BSJP and Allen & Overy Advise on Sabowind's Sale of Wind Farm Portfolio to DIF Capital Partners

BSJP has advised German wind farm developer Sabowind GmbH on its sale of a 108 megawatt wind project portfolio to DIF Infrastructure Fund VI. Allen & Overy advised the buyer.

Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.

According to BSJP, the portfolio consists of four wind farm projects located across Poland and the estimated annual power output will meet the energy needs of around 75,000 households.

DIF Infrastructure Fund VI is a subsidiary of DIF Capital Partners, a global independent fund with EUR 9 billion in assets under management. The company invests in greenfield and operational infrastructure assets located in Europe, the Americas, and Australasia.

BSJP’s team consisted of Partner Alina Szarlak and Counsel Grzegorz Wasiewski.

Allen & Overy’s team included Partner Jaroslaw Iwanicki, Senior Associate Maciej Skoczynski, Advocate Cyril Cotterall, and Associates Maksymilian Jablecki and Jan Spierzak.
