Gessel has advised the Smartt Group on an unspecified investment into the company by MJM Holdings.
Smartt Group is a Polish insurance and reinsurance broker headquartered in Warsaw. MJM Holdings is a brokerage group that includes Smartt Re, MJM Brokers, Attis Broker, and Attis Risk Management.
Gessel’s team consisted of Managing Partner Marcin Macieszczak, Managing Associates Krzysztof Jasinski and Karolina Krzal-Kwiatkowska, and Lawyer Magdalena Mirkowska.
The firm did not reply to an inquiry about the deal.
