Gessel has advised Polskie Bank Komorek Macierzystych SA on its acquisition of a minority stake in two companies operating stem cell banks: the Czech Republic's Rodinna Banka Perinatalnich a Mesenchymalnich Bunek and Slovakia's Rodinna Banka Perinatalnych a Mezenniechlnych.
According to Gessel, "along with the conclusion of the share sale agreement, an investment agreement was concluded, regulating the principles of PBKM's investment in the Czech and Slovak companies, including the possibility of extending PBKM's investment by acquiring the remaining shares in the companies."
Gessel's team was supervised by Partner Maciej Kozuchowski and led by Managing Associate Bartlomiej Wozniak, working with Attorney Diana Strzalkowska.
