Radzikowski, Szubielska i Wspolnicy has successfully represented private individuals Eliza Kubarska and Dawid Kaszlikowski in a dispute with Joanna Onoszsko, the author of “The Secret Life of Butterflies,” and the Znak publishing house.

According to Radzikowski, Szubielska i Wspolnicy, the dispute, which reached the Regional Court in Warsaw, involved false allegations Onoszsko made in her novel about Kubarska and Kaszlikowski’s Greenland expedition.

According to the firm, in its ruling, the court prohibited both the author and the publishing house from publishing and distributing the almost 300-page novel, ordered an apology to be made to the claimants, and ordered the author to issue an explicit admission that the book contains false information about the claimants’ expedition. Furthermore, the court awarded compensatory damages to the claimants.

Radzikowski, Szubielska i Wspolnicy’s team included Partners Marcin Boruc and Adam Zwierzynski.
