Norton Rose Fulbright has appointed Grzegorz Dyczkowski, the head of its Warsaw Banking and Finance team, as Managing Partner of the firm's Warsaw office.

Dyczkowski succeeds Piotr Strawa in the role.

“I’m honored to be appointed to the role of Managing Partner of Norton Rose Fulbright in Poland," Dyczkowski said. "With the support of my colleagues, we will continue to establish our practice as a leader in several areas of law: banking and finance, M&A and corporate and real estate. Together with our Warsaw lawyers and by collaborating with other offices worldwide, we will enhance our reputation, nationally and globally, as a prominent law firm."

"I would like to thank Piotr Strawa for his contribution to the success of Norton Rose Fulbright in Poland," Dyczkowski added. "Piotr has served as the Managing Partner for twenty years and, only because of his commitment and work, our law firm enjoys its present position and recognition.”

Strawa, who will continue to work with the Warsaw Corporate and M&A team, returned the compliment. “Grzegorz is recognized for his experience in banking law, finance and regulated markets. Over the years with Norton Rose Fulbright, Grzegorz has established and leads a team of respected lawyers in these fields. Given his experience in management and participatory style of work, the firm’s success and development are guaranteed. I believe Grzegorz is the best candidate to head this office in the years to come.”

Dyczkowski joined Norton Rose Fulbright in 2003 and was appointed Partner in 2006. As a result of the change in Managing Partner, the firm rebrands to Norton Rose Fulbright Dyczkowski and Partners, Limited Partnership.
