BSJP has successfully represented DHV Polska in a dispute with Poland's General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways.

DHV Polska is a subsidiary of the Netherlands-based DHV Royal Haskoning, which offers aviation, building, and architectural services, among others.

According to BSJP, the dispute revolved around the issue of remuneration for work performed on the design of the S2 Expressway, the southern section of the Warsaw Express Ring.

BSJP reported that, the case, which was initiated in 2011, "was heard twice by the Regional Court, three times by the Court of Appeal, and one time by the Supreme Court.”

In November 2020, the Court of Appeal in Warsaw passed what BSJP describes as "a final and binding judgment," awarding DHV Polska over PLN 2 million from the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways.

BSJP’s team was led by Partner Krzysztof Kowalczyk.
