Greenberg Traurig has advised the Innova/6 private equity fund on its acquisition of a majority stake in Poland-based software developer STX Next from Maciej Dziergwa and other, unnamed, shareholders.
Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.
STX NEXT is a software developer primarily focused on designing and creating digital solutions in the Python programming language. According to Greenberg Traurig, the founder of STX Next, Maciej Dziergwa, will remain the CEO of STX Next and a minority shareholder of the company.
Innova Capital is a private equity fund focused on mid-market buyouts in Central Europe. Since its establishment in 1994, it has invested EUR 900 million in over 50 companies and across ten countries in the region.
Greenberg Traurig’s team consisted of Partner Pawel Piotrowski, Local Partners Maciej Kacymirow and Anna Halas-Krawczyk, Senior Associate Agata Wisniewska, and Associates Jakub Tarlowski, Angelika Makar, Marta Kownacka, Alicja Walerjan, and Adam Andula.
Greenberg Traurig did not reply to an inquiry about the deal.
