SMM Legal has advised PKN Orlen S.A. on its tender offer, announced on September 21, 2020, to buy the remaining shares in Energa S.A.
Last year SMM Legal advised PKN Orlen on the initial tender offer to buy Energa's shares (as reported by CEE Legal Matters on December 17, 2020).
According to SMM Legal, the tender offer was announced in compliance with Article 91(5) of Poland's Act of 29 July 2005 on public offering, terms for the introduction of financial instruments to organized trading, and on public companies.
SMM Legal's team was led by Managing Partner Maciej Mataczynski and included Counsel Tomasz Jaranowski and Associates Adrian Rycerski and Aleksandra Rudnicka.
