DLA Piper Warsaw Advises on Sale of Stake in Top System to Aluflexpack

DLA Piper has advised the founder of Top System, a flexible packaging company in the dairy industry in Poland, on the sale of a majority stake to Switzerland's Aluflexpack, a manufacturer of flexible packaging solutions.

Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.

Top-System manufactures aluminum lids, PET lids, and lidding foil. The company was founded in 1990 in Poland. According to DLA Piper, the previous majority shareholder and managing director will continue to run the company as CEO after the sale.

DLA Piper’s team consisted of Partner Jakub Domalik-Plakwicz, Counsel Piotr Miller, and Associates Michal Banasiak and Klaudia Lorent.

DLA Piper did not respond to an inquiry about the deal.
