Bird & Bird has advised mBank on a financing and refinancing deal with Nordic Solar Energy related to the construction of 26 solar farms in northwestern Poland.
Financial detail were not disclosed.
Michal Popiolek, Managing Director of mBank, stated that, “this transaction strengthens our position as a leader in financing renewable energy sources. This marks the second financing transaction for solar farms in Poland between mBank and Nordic Solar Energy, following a loan earlier this summer for the construction of 28 solar farms in Poland (as reported by CEE Legal Matters on June 15, 2020).
