Gessel has advised OEX on an investment in iPOS that will see OEX take up newly issued shares constituting the majority of iPOS’ share capital. Grabarek Szalc i Wspolnicy reportedly advised iPOS on the deal.

According to Gessel, “the OEX Group specializes in providing services and technologies in sales. [It] has been listed on the WSE since 2005. IPOS is the creator of the first cash-terminal on the [Polish] market, combining the functions of a fiscal device and a payment terminal.”

Gessel’s team included Managing Partner Marcin Macieszczak, Senior Associates Krzysztof Jasinski, Karolina Krzal-Kwiatkowska, Marta Grabiec, Associates Paulina Maciag and Karolina Olszewska, and Paralegal Iwona Gielo-Benza.

Several years ago Grabarek Szalc i Wspolnicy also advised iPOS on a loan from Capital Partners (as reported by CEE Legal Matters on March 28, 2017).
