Bird & Bird has advised Wento and Enterprise Investors on the EUR 50 million sale of Eco Power sp. z o.o. to PGE Energia Odnawialna. The Warsaw office of Norton Rose Fulbright advised the buyers on the deal.
As a result of the deal, PGE Energia Odnawialna became the owner of the Skoczyklody wind farm. According to PGE Energia Odnawialna, this “will allow [PGE Energia Odnawialna] to increase the total installed capacity of PGE wind farms by over 5% and will strengthen the company as the largest producer of green energy in Poland.”
