DLA Piper Warsaw Head of Corporate/M&A Marta Frackowiak has been elected as representative of the EMEA region the firm’s International Board - the body that acts as the firm's supervisory board.
According to DLA Piper, her term of office began on June 1, 2021 and will end on December 31, 2022, with the possibility of re-election.
According to DLA Piper, Frackowiak has been with the firm for 14 years, and in addition to developing the Corporate/M&A practice in Warsaw, she is responsible for the development of the firm's pro bono activities in Warsaw. According to the firm, “Marta's appointment aligns with the firm's international Diversity and Inclusion policy and with her joining, women will comprise 40% of the seats on the DLA Piper International Board. She will be the only person on the board from the CEE region.”
