Walless has advised Spanish companies Elecnor and Abengoa on their agreement to electrify the Vilnius railway hub and the Kaisiadorys-Klaipeda railway for Lithuania’s state-owned railway company Lietuvos Gelezinkeliai. Sorainen advised Lietuvos Gelezinkeliai on the EUR 363 million contract.
According to Walless, “the project will create an economic value of around EUR 500 million and will also contribute to the reduction of pollution.”
