Kinstellar, working with Linklaters, has advised a syndicate of banks on a EUR 500 million senior facility agreement with Romanian telecommunications service provider RCS & RDS. Filip & Company advised RCS & RDS.
The banking syndicate was led by ING Bank’s London branch and included ING Bank, Citigroup Europe Dublin’s Romania Branch, UniCredit Bank, Raiffeisen Bank, BRD Groupe Societe Genarale, and ING Bank Amsterdam’s Bucharest Branch.
"The loan consists of a term loan in the amount of EUR 150 million, a revolving loan in the total amount of EUR 100 million, and one or more additional facilities in an aggregate amount of up to EUR 250 million with a maturity of up to five years," Kinstellar announced.
RCS & RDS, also known as Digi Communications, is a Romanian telecommunications holding company operating in Romania, Hungary, Spain, Italy, and Portugal.
The Kinstellar team was led by Special Counsel Magdalena Raducanu and included Managing Associate Razvan Constantinescu and Associates Adelina Seserman and Cosmin Mitrica.
The Filip & Company team included Partner Alexandru Birsan and Senior Associates Rebecca Marina, Camelia Iantuc, and Smaranda Vacaru.
