Papapolitis & Papapolitis and Bernitsas Advise on Qualco Group on IPO on Athens Stock Exchange

Papapolitis & Papapolitis has advised Qualco Group and its majority shareholder Wokalon Finances Limited on the successful initial public offering and listing of Qualco's shares on the regulated market of the Athens Exchange. Bernitsas and, reportedly, Latham & Watkins advised the banks.

Piraeus Bank, UBS Europe, and Euroxx Securities were the joint global coordinators. Alpha Bank, Eurobank the National Bank of Greece, and Optima Bank were the lead underwriters and joint bookrunners, while Attica Bank and Pantelakis Securities were the underwriters and joint bookrunners as well.

According to Papapolitis & Papapolitis, structured as a combined offering of new and existing shares to both the Greek public and institutional investors internationally (under Rule 144A and Regulation S), the IPO attracted bids totaling over EUR 563 million, nearly five times the number of shares on offer.
