Wiercinski Kwiecinski Baehr has advised the Avallon MBO Fund on its acquisition of a majority stake in Globema, together with the company's managers. Kondracki Celej advised Globema's shareholders.

Avallon is a private equity fund in Poland. Globema is a Poland-based and globally operating geospatial software solutions service provider and integrator.

"After the transaction, we intend to continue the current business path, focusing on a well-thought-out evolution, including steadily extending the offer of our services based on Google on-demand rides and delivery, mapping tools, and the development of network asset management tools using the tools available on the GE Smallworld platform on foreign markets – especially in the United States and Canada," Globema CEO Ryszard Rybus commented. "We also plan to commercialize our own products, that we have been developing over the recent years as part of our own research and development center, based on multi-million research projects."

"Globema, being an IT company, specializes in a niche, but a highly prospective area of geospatial solutions," Avallon Partner Marcin Konarski added. "The leading position of the company in Poland and the high share of exports in the revenue structure constitutes a great basis for further dynamic expansion."

The WKB team included Partner Jakub Jedrzejak, Counsel Michal Kalicki, Attorneys-at-Law Piotr Popielarski, Mateusz Gajda, and Tomasz Feliszewski, Associate Olga Tajak, Lawyers Dominik Kulpa, Sebastian Lys, Marcin Lorenc, Konrad Kropiwnicki, Karolina Kornelak, Katarzyna Wojcikowska, Julia Jewgraf, Klaudia Kacprzyk, Anna Matsiyeuskaya, John Kedzierski, Krzysztof Wasiewicz, and Marta Wasik, and Advocates Piotr Gajek, Marcin Kemblowski, Agnieszka Buksa, Aleksandra Baczykowska, and Karolina Miksa.

The Kondracki Celej team was led by Partner Rafal Celej and included Senior Associate Arek Klejnowski, Associate Marta Olbrys, and Trainee Attorney-at-Law Monika Twerdochlib.
