Havel & Partners has advised the National Development Bank on drafting model loan documentation for the Czech Republic’s Affordable Rental Housing program.

According to Havel & Partners, the templates were designed to reflect EU co-financing requirements and the expected involvement of senior lenders in individual project financings, setting a legal framework aligned with regulatory and practical needs. The Affordable Rental Housing program, part of the Czech National Recovery Plan, aims to spur the construction and reconstruction of apartments to increase rental availability. As the firm reports, CZK 2.25 billion has been allocated, with implementation by the National Development Bank in cooperation with the Ministry for Regional Development.

The Havel & Partners team included Partner Filip Cabart, Senior Associate Tomas Mach, and Junior Associate Lukas Janecka.
