Binder Groesswang has promoted Corporate/M&A lawyer Philipp Kapl to Partner.
According to Binder Groesswang, Kapl "primarily advises companies and entrepreneurs on domestic and cross-border M&A-transactions, corporate restructurings, and joint ventures. Most recently, he advised Indorama Ventures on the acquisition of all shares in Schoeller, VTG on the sale of approximately 4,400 railcars, and SNAM on the acquisition of 49% of the Austrian gas pipeline operator Gas Connect Austria."
Kapl received his doctorate in law from the University of Graz in 2010, and in 2011 obtained Master's degrees in the fields of international relations and economics as a Fulbright scholar at Syracuse University in the United States. Before joining Binder Groesswang in 2015, he spent three and a half years with Schoenherr.
